NL Tussenruimtes zijn plekken die nauwelijks opvallen, maar altijd aanwezig zijn. Ze vormen de ongebruikte hoeken van ons leven – subtiel, onopvallend en onmisbaar. Deze ruimtes hebben een bijzondere kracht: ze zijn de bron van spontaniteit en creativiteit. Hier ontstaan ideeën, niet door planning, maar door toevallige ontmoetingen, intuïtie en het omarmen van het moment.

Valerie Vaernewycks werk ontstaat vaak in deze tussenruimtes. Ze zijn onvoorspelbaar, maar voortdurend aanwezig. Tekeningen, sculpturen, schilderijen en foto’s komen voort uit die spontane momenten. The loose Ends knoopt alles samen tot één geheel, waarin het proces van ontstaan zelf centraal staat. 

EN Places in between are spaces that barely catch attention, but are always present. They form the unused corners of our life - subtle, inconspicuous and indispensible. These spaces have a unique power: they are the source of spontaneity and creativity. Ideas are conceived here, not by planning, but by coincidental meetings, intuition and the embracing of the moment.

Valerie Vaernewyck’s work often exists in these intervals. They are unpredictable, but continuously present. Drawings, sculptures, paintings and pictures come forth from these spontaneous moments. The Loose Ends ties everything together into one, where the process of orgination itself is central.
